Welcome to my website. My name is Norma Sanchez. My husband and I added a pool to backyard two years ago. We live in a climate where we can swim almost year round, so our family gets a great deal of enjoyment from our pool. The reason for my blog is to share some of the things we learned about pools. We were surprised at the amount of different styles, shapes and sizes. The choices got a bit overwhelming until we were able to narrow them down. We especially enjoyed picking out the deck area, landscaping and fencing. We also added a Jacuzzi to the pool area. In addition to the building of the pool, there is much to learn about upkeep. We don’t have a pool service. My husband takes care of the pool and Jacuzzi himself. I hope you enjoy reading what I’m going to share.

Having curtains or drapes gives rooms a whole new look, and the large swathes of cloth also block out a lot more light than blinds can. However, if you're in a housing situation where you can't put holes in the wall, adding curtains can be difficult -- or so it seems. The most obvious method would be to use a tension rod placed in the window, but the curtain on the rod won't be able to cover the sides of the window in that case.
